The Beautiful Game is one of the few things that can transcend nearly all human boundaries: language, political and regional. There’s just something about the character and personality of the 2010 FIFA World Cup that can’t be matched by any other sporting event.

Maybe it’s the multi-talented athletes who can not only dazzle their opponents with their impressive dribbling tricks, but can also move the heart of the referee with their unexpected and exaggerated acting abilities. Or perhaps it’s the drama of strictly imposed advertising and sponsorship rules that now prohibit orange minidresses from appearing in a World Cup stadium until 2022. Or it could even be the soccer/football/futbol fans that dress up in the most bizarre fashions as a display of support for their national team (and have no issue with ripping apart stadiums or public property with their bare hands if their team loses/wins).

Yeah… it’s probably the fans.
